Koinōnia: fellowship.

The Light of the World

Shone into our darkness,

Exposing, expunging

Our sin and shame,

Making us Yours.

Koinōnia: participation.

The Light of Life abiding

In us, healing, transforming,

And making us new,

His Holy Spirit living

In mortal flesh.

Koinōnia: partnership.

The Light of the One working

In and through us, strengthening,

Enabling us to carry out

His will, to further His

Kingdom for His glory.

Koinōnia: communion.

The Light of the glory of God

Radiating from Jesus’ face,

Resplendent with glory,

Filled with grace, drawing

Our hearts to You.

Koinōnia: intimacy.

The Light of His presence,

Father, Son, and Spirit within,

A trinity of love, encircling,

Holding, delighting our

Hearts in Him.
