Held by the Comforter
It’s the comfort of having someone close who is for you, who helps you, stands up for you, and has your back.
How beautiful that God our Father is the source of this comfort, the Spirit is the Comforter who has drawn near to dwell within us, and the Son bore our grief and carried our sorrows in His own body on the cross.

We Turn To God
The Bible writes quite a lot about turning to God, and I often picture it like turning my face to the sun to feel its rays.
As the Holy Spirit works in us and we turn to God, we can experience His joy, but this does not negate the hardship. We don’t do ourselves any favors by denying the difficulties that we are experiencing.
