A Psalm for Jehosaphat

(By Meaghan Bartlett)
When enemy armies come my way
Where does my help come from?
May I seek His voice, His face
My help comes from the LORD
Who is the LORD?
Is He not our Creator?
Master of Order, Star-breather?
The Maker of heaven and earth
Who is the LORD?
Is He not the Friend of Abraham?
Covenant-maker, Promise-keeper?
God who is in heaven
Who is the LORD?
Is He not our Father?
Tear-bottler, Heart-mender?
He who watches over you
When I call, will He not answer?
The one who fights my battles
May war be replaced with rest at every side
For His faithful love endures forever

This poem is inspired by the story found in 2 Chronicles 20:1-30, as well as Psalm 121 and 136.

Really enjoyed reading "A Psalm for Jehosaphat", and I liked how clear and grounded the writing felt. I also liked how you touched on keyboard test online. Definitely bookmarking this one.
