(By Rachel Joyce)
O, Restorer of my soul, I rest in you.
Though the ground gives way around me,
Mountains shudder and shatter
In an avalanche of broken hopes
Tossed and tumbled
By the mighty breakers
And carried away
By the surging waves.
Crushed, broken beyond telling,
I lift up to You the few fragments
Of what remains; and as You
Reach out to me, I see
The scars in Your hands
The tender compassion
In Your eyes as
Your love encircles me.
Your everlasting arms shield me
From this turbulent, savage storm.
And my trembling subsides as I feel
Your strength holding me.
My fears fade as You breathe
Peace into my soul,
Hold me close, Lord.
Never let me go.
In Your wounded hands, my fragments
Become whole again, You build me back.
And I discover a new rhythm of living,
Lifting my eyes to Your face,
My hands outstretched to You
Letting go while
Continually receiving
Your love and grace.

God is within her, she will not fall; God will help her at break of day. Nations are in uproar, kingdoms fall; he lifts his voice, the earth melts. The LORD Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress.
